1. What facilities are available to rent?

Subject to availability, the meeting rooms in the Community Center are available for weddings and receptions, business meetings, conferences, parties and lectures.

2. What hours are the facilities available?

The Community Center building is open from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m Monday through Thursday and from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The buildings may be closed evenings and Saturdays if no meetings or activities are scheduled. The rooms are not available for use on Sundays or national holidays. Meetings and events must conclude and the building must be vacated by the designated closing time.

3. How do I reserve a room for my meeting or event?

Facility Rental Applications and Facility Use Policy may be downloaded from this website or obtained at the Community Services Office in the Community Center. Return the completed application form to the Community Services office during regular business hours. Applications must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the intended use.

4. Can I serve alcohol at my event?

Applicants may obtain a permit from the Community Services office to serve alcohol at an event in the Community Center. Permits are only approved when insurance and security requirements are met.

5. Can I come in early to decorate for my event?

If the room is available, it may be rented for additional time for preparation and clean-up. Rental fees apply to all of the time that the room is reserved for private use.

6. What is included when I rent a room?

The room rental includes reserved use of the room, tables and chairs (set up by Town staff according to the wishes of the user group), public address system if necessary, and utilities. User groups must provide their own linens, dishes, utensils.

7. When will my deposit be returned?

User groups are expected remove all trash and provide reasonable clean-up in order for the deposit to be refunded. When the room is left on time, clean and without damage, a refund check will be processed within 3 weeks of the event. Credit card refunds can usually be expected within 5 days.
