The registration period has been extended for the Town of Yucca Valley Youth Flag Football and Youth Volleyball Leagues.

Registration for Youth Flag Football will continue until Thursday, September 9th.  This coed program teaches the basic skills of football and is open to boys and girls in the following age divisions: 8-9 year olds, 10-11 year olds, and 12-14 year olds (through middle school). Practices are held two evenings per week beginning in September. Games are played on Saturdays with the league opener on October 2nd at Machris Park.  (more…)

The Town of Yucca Valley’s is offering men’s and ladies’ league registration through September 8th for the adult softball fall season. Games will be played weekday evenings at the Community Center ball field with Ladies League continuing on Monday, and Men’s League on Wednesday. Completed league registration form and $400.00 fee are to be turned in by the deadline. (more…)

The Town of Yucca Valley Public Works Division announces street crews will be performing road construction and overlay work on Rockaway Avenue in the west end of Yucca Valley. The Town of Yucca Valleys Public Works Division has announced the closure of Warren Vista Avenue, between Twentynine Palms Hwy and Yucca Trail due to utility and storm drain installation at the Warren Vista Shopping Center. The closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 16th. Warren Vista will be closed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily until this portion of construction is complete. (more…)
