The Town of Yucca Valley’s 2011-12 street maintenance project will continue with work scheduled in the following neighborhoods during the week of November 14, 2011:

Avalon Avenue from Barron Drive to SR-62 Outer Highway North
SR-62 Outer Highway North from El Dorado Ave to Indio Avenue
Onaga Trail from Sage Avenue to Fox Trail
- Tuesday, November 15
Carlyle Drive from Balsa Avenue to Emerson Avenue
Joshua Drive from Emerson Avenue to Palomar Avenue
Onaga Trail from Hilton Avenue to Sage Avenue
- Wednesday, November 16
David Avenue from Linda Lee Drive to Ronald Avenue
Linda Lee Drive from SR-62 to Barron Drive
Palo Alto Avenue from Paxton Road to Redondo Street
Onaga Trail from Hilton Avenue to Sage Avenue
- Thursday, November 17
Palo Alto Avenue from Redondo Street to cul de sac
Emerson Avenue from Joshua Drive to Carlyle Avenue Onaga Trail from Kickapoo Trail to Fox Trail
Traffic flow will be one-way on these streets during the project. Work will be completed on one half of the road, with no access for approximately 2 hours. Access will then be switched to the other half of the road and the maintenance work will be completed.
The Town plans to provide individual notification to the affected residences approximately 48 hours prior to actual work in specific areas. Disruption to school traffic, trash pick up, or public safety access is not anticipated.
The Public Works Department appreciates the patience and cooperation of drivers and residents in creating a safe work zone for this project and for assisting in traffic safety in the Town of Yucca Valley.
