Public art is an important element in defining the quality of life in a growing
community. The Yucca Valley Town Council adopted its first public art policy in
the fall of 2002 and appointed the Public Art Advisory Committee shortly afterward.
The Committee has cataloged the Town’s inventory of public art, identified
locations for future placements and initiated dialogue with potential donors and
contributors. The Committee continues to work with staff and the community to
promote public art and to identify potential funding sources.
