On display @ Hi Desert Nature Museum

Seeds: Nature's Artful Engineering
January 7 - March 11, 2017
This exhibit aims to increase awareness and appreciation of the beauty, diversity, ingenuity and critical importance of seeds and their dispersal mechanisms in California native plants. Against many, many odds they are the final step in ensuring the survival of plant life.

Earth Day Fair Exhibitors and Vendors Wanted
Fair Date: Saturday, April 22, 2017 Time: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
The Hi-Desert Nature Museum’s Earth Day is the premier destination in the high desert to learn about environmental issues and solutions in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere of celebration. Artists,
musicians, and dancers entertain visitors, hands-on activities, educational displays and hand-made items are an important part of the Fair.
Vendors and Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to offer products and services that are in keeping with the environmental spirit of Earth Day, including give-a-ways that are useful and can be recycled if discarded. For more detailed information and an application go to www.hidesertnaturemuseum.org

Chamber Music at the Museum

February 11 & 12, 2017
The “Encelias” will be joined by David & Paulette Miller a Flute & Harp Duo. David and Paulette have been performing together for many years in Southern California and Italy. 

Tickets are avaible on line for a donation of:
$15 for standard seating
$20 for preferred seating

Thursday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or
at the Yucca Valley Community Center
Monday through Thursday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Both are located in the Yucca VAlley Community Center Complex
at 57090 Twentynine Palms Highway., Yucca Valley CA 92284
