Throughout the year, several special events are organized and conducted by the Town of Yucca Valley and other organizations.Some of the upcoming special events are listed below. First Saturday Events
Presented by the Yucca Valley Senior Club. Looking for something to do or a place to meet people? Check out the First Saturday Events at the Yucca Valley Senior Center.

The Town of Yucca Valley will present its annual Easter Egg Hunt event on Saturday, April 15th, at the Yucca Valley Community Center athletic fields. The hunt for candy-filled eggs and special prizes is open to children ages 8 and under with separate hunting areas for each age group.  Parents will be allowed to assist participants in the “Lil’ Hoppers Zone” for toddlers. The event begins promptly at 9:00 a.m., but all are encouraged to come early to gather around the field or visit with the Easter Bunny. Be sure to bring camera for that special photograph. Easter egg hunters can also win special prizes by entering the “Name the Duck” and the “Guess How Many Jelly Beans” contests.
There is no admission charge, but participants should bring their own basket to collect the eggs and goodies. This event is sponsored by the Town of Yucca Valley and the Yucca Valley Senior Club.

Grubstake 10K, 5K Run & 2K Walk

The Town of Yucca Valley invites you to the 27th Annual Grubstakes Run! All three pleasant but challenging looped courses are slightly uphill at the start, then flat, and then downhill to the finish. This run presented in the spirit of fun and fitness for all.  The 2K is a non-competitive event for runners, walkers or strollers.
Distances    10k -6.2 miles      5k -3.1 miles      2k -1.2 miles

Chamber Music at the Museum
The 2nd annual fundrasier will feature the Encelia Chamber Ensemble and the Encelia Minors.  Both string ensembles will play works by master composer, which will then be followed by a meet and greet reception.
