Throughout the year, several special events are organized and conducted by the Town of Yucca Valley. Some of the upcoming special events are listed below. More detailed information can be accessed by contacting the Community Services Department at

Paradise Park Recreation Fun Day

The Town of Yucca Valley Recreation Department will host a Family Fun Day at the Paradise Park playground located at 58938 Barron Drive in Yucca Valley. The event will feature kite flying and a kite craft, a bounce house for kids, music, and a hot cocoa bar complete with whipped cream, marshmallows, sprinkles, and other fun toppings. Recreation staff will distribute mini kites and participants will also be entered into a raffle for a chance to win specialty kites throughout the day. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; all ages are welcome. The program is provided free to the public.

Holiday Craft Faire

Ready to tackle your holiday shopping? Here is a great way to pick up those unique gifts for that “hard to buy for” person. Over 50vendors will be displaying a variety of quality, handcrafted items for your browsing enjoyment!

Letters to Santa

Santa’s elves will soon be here to pick up your letters to Santa! Drop your letter off in the
special mailbox at the Community Center. The elves will make sure Santa knows to “write
back.” Must enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. The mailbox will be up from
November 10 through December 5.
Letters can be dropped off or mailed to the address below:

Tree Lighting Cenemony and Santa Visits
Santa is planning a special tour of Yucca Valley! On Saturday, December 6th, Santa will be stopping by the parks to visit children in the neighborhood. His final stop will be at the Community Center where he will host the Town’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, where there will be music, hot cocoa, cider, and cookies. Bring your camera for that special picture with Santa, and your singing voice (hummers welcome too!), Be ready to get into the holiday spirit!
