The Town of Yucca Valley provides a variety of recreational and enrichment opportunities for youth and teens. Our skilled recreation staff strives to present high quality programs and events to create a safe and fun environment for the youth of the community. Youth and Teens

Spring Day Camp

Spring Day Camp will include games, crafts, moview and tons of FUN! Bring a sack lunch and a snack or two. Camp will be help at Jacobs Park. Space in limited so be sure to sign up early to get your spot! Pre-registration is available online or at the YV Community Center.

Grades: K-6
Dates: March 24th - 28th
Time: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $60 for the week  Enroll Now!

Jacobs Park After School Program

This after school program is held at Jacobs Park on Onaga Trail. Recreation staff meets the children at Yucca Valley Elementary School and walks with them to the park. The program includes crafts, movies, organized indoor & outdoor activities and homework help.  The program is limited to 24 participants.  Please pre-register at the Yucca Valley Community Center.

** Program will not be held during inclement weather. Please call 369-7211 for cancellation notices. **

Grades: K - 6th
Dates: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
Time: 3:00 - 5:30 p.m..
Cost:  FREE!

Kid's Spring Dance
Enjoy an afternoon of music, dancing and fun! A DJ will play the latest hits. Recreation staff will be supervising this event. Snacks will be provided.

Date: Saturday, April 12
Grades: K-6
Time: 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $3.00 per person
Location: Yucca Valley Senior Center

Making a Scene
This class is a scene study workshop for young actors, focusing on the elements of scene and character development and the fundementals of acting. Instructor is Steve Fuji

Ages: 8 - 18
Day: Wednesdays, ongoing
Time: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Cost:  $25 per month - Enroll Now!

Paradise Park Center
Located in Paradise Valley, this drop-in program offers arts & crafts, movies, organized indoor and outdoor activities, air hockey and more. Homework help is also available. Registration is not required.

Ages:  5 - 16
Days: Monday - Friday
Time: 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Cost: FREE!

Paradise Park Center

Mom, Dad & Me
Join other parents for an enjoyable outing with your child, building a social and behavioral foundation for your little one.

Ages: Birth to 5
Day: Thursdays
Time: 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
