Imagination and community come together for a morning of storytelling and hands-on creativity. Join Mayor Abel as he reads a desert-themed children’s story, celebrating the unique beauty and wildlife of the Mojave Desert.  Following the reading, museum staff will lead a fun, interactive craft activity inspired by the story, giving children an opportunity to express their creativity and connect with the theme in a meaningful way.
