The Planning Division plans and shapes growth in the Town of Yucca Valley— ensuring that new development always works in harmony with existing infrastructure.
It’s our job to make sure the Town continues to meet the demand for services, and that the growth we experience remains inclusive for everyone who lives, works and plays here.
To accomplish these aims, we monitor changing conditions with respect to community needs and guide implementation of new State and Federal laws affecting the General Plan.
Our services range from maintaining the Town’s General Plan to issuing sign permits. We review plans and provide guidance for all manner of development projects, including new construction, landscaping, and remodeling.
Additionally, we serve as a liaison to the Town’s Planning Commission, making best-practice policy recommendations to help the Town achieve its community development goals.
