The General Plan is used to set long-term goals and policies that will guide growth and development in the Town of Yucca Valley for decades to come. 

It develops strategies for growing prosperity while protecting the quality of life that makes the high desert community incomparably special. 

The General Plan addresses a variety of issues to set a vision for the future, including:

The General Plan Update was adopted by the Town Council on February 04, 2014. The latest update to the Housing Element and Safety Elements were adopted by the Town Council on April 05, 2022.
