The Crack Seal Project generally consists of applying a crack sealant to the cracks in the pavement, to assist in reducing and eliminating water penetration into and below the asphalt roadway. This process is best completed in winter months followed by slurry seal in the summer months. Temperatures for both treatments are important for satisfactory results.
