The Yucca Valley Town Council established an invocation policy for public meetings with the adoption of Resolution No. 13-02. Members of the clergy in the Town of Yucca Valley are invited to voluntarily offer a prayer before the beginning of the Town Council meeting in accordance to the adopted policy and encourages the opportunity for respect and ecumenism.

All religious congregations with an established presence in Yucca Valley are eligible to participate. If interested, please submit a Public Meeting Invocation Request to be included in the eligibility list with the Town Clerk.

Meetings are typically on the first and third Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center. Invocations are presented at the beginning of the meeting.
